Shabdo — Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account and using Shabdo, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Shabdo. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide (including your mobile number) is accurate and belongs to you.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Do not share your account access with others. Shabdo is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized use of your account due to your own negligence.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Shabdo to:

• Harass, threaten, bully, or abuse any other user
• Send hate speech, discriminatory content, or content that incites violence
• Share sexually explicit content, especially involving minors, which will be reported to relevant authorities
• Impersonate another person or organization
• Send spam, scams, phishing links, or fraudulent content
• Share or promote illegal activities, including but not limited to drug-related content, weapons, or other unlawful conduct
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the platform's systems
• Violate any applicable law in Bangladesh, including the Cyber Security Act and other relevant regulations

5. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the voice messages and content you send. Shabdo does not pre-screen content but reserves the right to review reported content and take action.

6. Reporting & Enforcement

Users can report abusive content or accounts. Shabdo reserves the right to:

• Warn a user
• Temporarily suspend an account
• Permanently deactivate an account
• Remove content that violates these Terms
• Report illegal activity to law enforcement authorities where required by law

This action may be taken without prior notice if the violation is severe (e.g. threats, illegal content, harassment).

7. Privacy

Your phone number and voice messages are stored securely and used only to operate the app (delivering messages, verifying your identity, and improving the service). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time. Shabdo may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice depending on severity.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Shabdo after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
